FlickNight is a movie recommendation app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and we don't track you.
FlickNight does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app. The app stores your preferences — such as your mood selections, saved films, and watch history — locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
FlickNight uses the TMDb (The Movie Database) API to fetch movie information including titles, descriptions, artwork, and streaming availability. Your mood selections and app activity are not shared with TMDb. We encourage you to review TMDb's privacy policy for details on their data practices.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking tools. We do not collect crash reports automatically. If you choose to report a bug or send feedback, any information you share is used only to address the issue you've raised.
All data generated by your use of FlickNight — including your saved films, watched history, and favourites — is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data entirely.
FlickNight is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
